‌沙糖桔的原产地是中国广东,尤其是四会地区。‌在20世纪90年代前,沙糖桔也被称为十月桔或冰糖桔,因其味甜如沙糖而得名。2002年起,西林县开始引进沙糖桔种植,开发沙糖桔产业。

The origin of Shatangju is Guangdong, China, especially in the Sihui region. Before the 1990s, sand sugar orange was also known as October orange or rock sugar orange, named after its sweet taste resembling sand sugar. Since 2002, Xilin County has started to introduce the cultivation of sand sugar oranges and develop the sand sugar orange industry.

一、产区特点:Characteristics of the production area:

1、西林县98%的土地是肥沃的土山,土层具疏松、深厚、潮湿、肥沃的特征,非常适合沙糖桔的种植。

2、全境属亚热带大陆性季风气候,年均气温19.1摄氏度,年均日照1612小时,全年无霜期350天以上。光热充足,冬无严寒,夏无酷暑,土地气候,昼夜温差大,平均差值5.5℃,最大达14.0℃,有利于沙糖桔的糖分积累。

3、全县集雨面积超过50多平方公里的有17条,集雨面积超过100平方公里的有9条,年平均径流量76.26立方米,给沙糖桔的生长提供了有利的条件。

Adequate light and heat, no severe cold in winter, no scorching heat in summer, land climate, large temperature difference between day and night, with an average difference of 5.5 ℃ and a maximum of 14.0 ℃, which is conducive to the accumulation of sugar in sand sugar oranges.

3. There are 17 plants in the county with a catchment area exceeding 50 square kilometers, and 9 plants with a catchment area exceeding 100 square kilometers. The annual average runoff is 76.26 cubic meters, providing favorable conditions for the growth of sand sugar oranges.

二、荣誉honor:

2009年,西林沙糖桔获得中国无公害农产品证书,2011年11月,西林县被中国经济林协会评为“中国沙糖桔之乡”,2012年11月22日,西林沙糖桔又获得“国家地理标志保护产品”认证,2014年7月,西林沙糖桔取得国际域名注册证书。

四、如何挑选how to choose:

1、正宗的西林沙糖桔表皮粗糙,布满了密密麻麻的小黑点,这些小黑点是油室,油室越多,沙糖桔越甜,汁水越多。同时,沙糖桔的表皮较薄,容易剥碎,不易剥成一整块。如果表皮光滑或能剥成完整的橘皮,那么它可能不是正宗的西林沙糖桔。

2、正宗的西林沙糖桔味甜如蜜、含糖量高、果汁丰富、果肉质地脆嫩且化渣无核。如果品尝后发现味道酸涩、果肉干瘪或含有果核,那么它可能不是正宗的西林沙糖桔。

3、西林沙糖桔的个头一般较小,直径在45厘米左右,重量在3050克之间。可以用手做出一个OK的手势,如果沙糖桔能正好放入这个圆圈中,那么它的个头就是比较合适的。个头过大或过小的沙糖桔可能不是正宗的西林沙糖桔,或者品质不佳。

2. Authentic penicillin sugar has an orange flavor as sweet as honey, high sugar content, rich juice, crispy and tender flesh texture, and no residue or seeds. If you find that the taste is sour, the flesh is shriveled, or contains fruit pits after tasting, then it may not be authentic penicillin sugar orange.

3. The size of penicillin sugar orange is generally small, with a diameter of about 45 centimeters and a weight of between 3050 grams. You can make an OK gesture with your hand, and if the satrap can fit perfectly into this circle, then its size is quite appropriate. Sugar oranges that are too large or too small in size may not be authentic penicillin sugar oranges, or their quality may be poor.
