蔣濛1976年出生於中國天津，隨後移居香港並在那裡接受基礎教育，後赴美國深造。
他在史丹福大學完成了電機工程的學士、碩士及博士學位。

Jiang Meng was born in Tianjin, China, in 1976. He subsequently moved to Hong Kong, where he received his primary and secondary education, before going on to study in the United States.
