张介宇，1948年出生，现为胡杨艺术研究院院长，胡杨画派创始人，中央文史研究馆书画院研究员，中国美术家协会会员，文化部中国国际书画艺术研究会理事，北京大学兼职教授，岭南大师黎雄才入室弟子，人民大会堂金色大厅《胡杨礼赞》创作者。
从2004年至2009年，历时五年精心创作长七十米，高2.5米巨幅长卷“胡杨礼赞”。张仃先生专为题写卷首。擅长水墨山水画，画风雄阔幽远、壮丽、凝重。在山水画领域里独树一帜。是一位具有深厚社会责任感和博爱情怀的画家。他把山水画当作历史、史诗来画，作品多为表现时代的主旋律、弘扬中华民族不屈不饶、奋斗不息精神的题材。
先后在北京中国美术馆、革命军事博物馆、广州、西安、兰州、烟台、天津、哈尔滨、美国、英国、法国、俄罗斯、澳大利亚、日本、韩国等地举办过个展和参选联展。
出版有:《张介宇中国画集》陕西人民出版社《当代中国画名家张介宇精选》天津人民美术出版社、《胡杨礼赞》人民美术出版社,《张介宇画选》人民美术出版社等。
Zhang Jieyu, born in 1948, currently serves as the president of the Populus Euphratica Art Research Institute, a researcher at the Calligraphy and Painting Academy of the Central Research Institute of Culture and History, a member of the China Artists Association, a director of the China International Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Association under the Ministry of Culture, an adjunct professor at Peking University, a disciple of Lingnan master Li Xiongcai, and the creator of "Ode to Populus Euphratica" in the Golden Hall of the Great Hall of the People.
From 2004 to 2009, over a span of five years, he meticulously created a massive scroll painting titled "Ode to Populus Euphratica" measuring 70 meters in length and 2.5 meters in height. Mr. Zhang Ding specially inscribed the title for the scroll. He is adept at ink landscape painting, with a style that is vast, profound, magnificent, and dignified. He stands out uniquely in the field of landscape painting. He is a painter with a profound sense of social responsibility and a broad-mindedness. He treats landscape painting as history and epic poetry, and his works often depict the main themes of the times, promoting the indomitable and relentless spirit of the Chinese nation.
He has held solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions in various places, including the National Art Museum of China in Beijing, the Revolutionary Military Museum, Guangzhou, Xi'an, Lanzhou, Yantai, Tianjin, Harbin, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Russia, Australia, Japan, South Korea, and more.
