Cicadas chirp crisply on branches, their tunes softening the mild glow of midsummer. Bees flit among blossoms, lingering over pale pink lotus petals, unwilling to take flight. The pond is fully covered with blooming lotuses, emerald leaves spreading like green waves. Pale pink flowers unfurl gently, their faint sweet aroma drifting along the lakeside path.
Koi glide freely through the water, their tail fins rippling the surface and shattering the reflection of sky and clouds.
