事实上,HR才是企业最大的利润源。
可现在几乎所有公司的财务报表,都把HR部门的支出归入“管理费用”——这是大工业时代遗留下来的一种认知错误,仿佛HR只会花钱、不能赚钱,只有支出、没有收入。
根子在于:传统财报捕捉不到人力资源创造的价值。它看得见支付给员工的薪酬总额,却看不见一个顶级人才带来的技术突破与市场份额;它算得出培训费花了多少,却算不出一次成功培训换来的人效提升;它记得下猎头的费用,却没办法把一位优秀管理者带来的团队战斗力和决策质量,写进资产负债表。
真正的利润,不只来自开源,更来自节流与增值。而HR,恰恰是节流与增值的核心驱动者。
把HR当成“成本中心”,无异于抱着金饭碗去讨饭。

Yet today, nearly all companies’ financial statementsify HR department expenditures under “administrative expenses”—a misconception left over from the industrial age, as if HR only spends money and cannot generate revenue, with only expenses and no income.
The root of the problem lies in the fact that traditional financial statements fail to capture the value created by human resources. They can see the total compensation paid to employees, but they cannot see the technological breakthroughs and market share gained from a top-tier talent; they can calculate how much was spent on training, but they cannot quantify the increase in labor productivity resulting from a successful training session; they record the fees paid to headhunters, but they cannot reflect the team’s fighting spirit and the quality of decision-making brought by an outstanding manager on the balance sheet.
True profit comes not only from increasing revenue but also from cost savings and value creation. And HR is precisely the core driver of both cost savings and value creation.
Treating HR as a “cost center” is tantamount to begging for food while holding a golden rice bowl.
