莫里森的回答：1：这将是一套独立重塑的超级英雄军团故事，不计入主宇宙连续性，我曾打算在一期单篇里讲述整个军团史诗般的历史，构想计划是在联合星球的背景下进行一场盛大的《星际迷航》主题式巡游，我想把军团的故事写成一场发生在银河尺度下的青年崇拜运动的兴起与没落，故事开篇是三个特立独行的年轻人——来自威纳斯星球的加思·兰兹，泰坦星的心灵感应者伊姆拉·阿尔丁，还有来自布拉尔星的洛克·克林，我会把他们塑造成类似苏克西·苏领衔的【布罗姆利朋克群体】——聪明且富有挑衅精神和前卫风格，但这群军团少年并不沉迷颓废风气与卡巴莱歌舞，他们痴迷于20和21世纪那些古典式【超级英雄】，他们决定模仿超级英雄的装束，给自己取英雄名号——闪电小子，土星女孩以及宇宙男孩

2：我本人对基芬写的五年后版军团没有什么特殊感情，我当时没有追更过这套连载！关于那版我只记得自己不是很喜欢它的九宫格分镜，也欣赏不来那种【黑暗】基调，相比之下我还是更偏爱基芬在80年代早期和保罗·里维兹合作那段，正是那些漫画让20岁出头的我又拾起了漫画
我很喜欢基芬，我和凯斯·基芬本人相处得十分融洽——他独特又大胆，头脑犀利又富有创造力——我单纯共情不了他那版军团
3：我和奎特利确实曾收到邀约，为《动作漫画》第1000期写个故事，但据我个人回忆当时我们没有想到什么特别出彩的构思，而且我那时候认为《全明星超人》已经把我要表达的观点都说到了
原文1.This would have been a standalone reimagining of the Legion and not part of continuity. It was my attempt to do a whole epic Legion history in one story. The plan was to have a big Star Trek sweep with a United Planets backdrop. I wanted to play the story of the Legion as the rise and fall of a youth cult, on a galactic scale. It would start with three hipster kids – Garth Ranzz from the planet Winath, Imra Ardeen, a telepath from Titan and Rokk Krinn of Braal. We’d play them like the ‘Bromley contingent’ of punks led by Siouxsie Sioux – clever, provocative and stylish - but instead of being into decadence and Cabaret, these Legion kids were obsessed with old time ‘superheroes’ from the 20th and 21stcenturies. They decide to dress like superheroes and give themselves superhero names - Lightning Lad, Saturn Girl and Cosmic Boy.Pretending to be superheroes, they save the life of squillionaire RJ Brande, who, like Brian Epstein with the Beatles, or Malcolm McClaren and the Sex Pistols, sees ‘potential’ in these young trendsetters. They swiftly become stars, the height of cool. The superhero thing would then get bigger and more successful, with new members joining the newly-created ‘Legion of Super-Heroes’ from all points in the sky – we’d follow the rise and then the fractures, the ‘musical’ differences, the originals splitting off as the original idea is mangled or forgotten – with breakaway factions of Substitute Heroes and Wanderers doing their own thing – until what had been a universe-changing style, jargon and philosophy, would wind up in every space variant of Hot Topic, and every kid would be dressing in some watered down version of the hero look - then cosmic war - and so on – it would have been three 40 page issues telling the whole story, with a bittersweet ending where the last of the originals get together to reminisce and the solution to a central mystery is finally revealed…2. I have no personal relationship with the ‘Five Years Later’ Giffen Legion run, as I wasn’t reading the book at the time! All I remember about that run is disliking the 9-panel grid and the ‘grim’ Legion, and preferring Giffen’s work with Paul Levitz in the early ‘80s (those were the books that got me back into reading comics in my early 20s). I liked him a lot and got on well with Keith - he was a one-of-a-kind madcap acerbic creative mind - but I didn’t connect with that version of the Legion at all.3. Quitely and I were invited to contribute a story to Action 1000 but as I recall we didn’t have anything great in mind and by that time I felt we’d said our piece with All-Star Superman.
