成都的前沿，从不是简单的外来移植，⽽是深植于城本基因⸺每个时代，它都先成为先锋，再把先锋消化成⽇常。北宋时，世界上第一张纸币 "交子" 在此诞生；同一时期，蜀锦沿茶马古道向西，织进中亚贵族的衣袍。二十世纪初，华西坝的中式大屋顶，盖在了西式拱券之上。
今天，玉林路的小酒馆与太古里的买手店只隔三公里，盖碗茶与手冲咖啡在同一条街上冒着热气。这是一座被时间折叠的城市，古与今，中与西，市井与雅趣，在这里从不打架。它们叠在一起，织成了成都独有的肌理。
Chengdu’s pioneering spirit is never a simple imported graft, but rooted in its DNA. In every era, it first forges new frontiers, then turns innovation into everyday life.During the Northern Song Dynasty, the world’s first paper currency, Jiaozi, was born here. In the same period, Sichuan brocade traveled west along the Tea-Horse Road, woven into the robes of Central Asian nobles. In the early 1900s, Chinese hip roofs rested upon Western arches at Huaxiba.
Today, the small bars on Yulin Road are merely three kilometers from the boutiques of Taikoo Li. Gaiwan tea and pour-over coffee steam side by side on the same street.This is a city folded by time. Antiquity and modernity, East and West, street vitality and refined elegance never conflict here. Layered upon one another, they weave Chengdu’s unique urban texture.

Design is not transplantation, but awakening
这个项目落在成都东主轴之上。一边是川西林盘的竹影，一边是新城的玻璃幕墙与天际线。我们面对的，是如何把那份前卫的基因，从时间里唤醒。答案不在远方，在成都自己的记忆里。
如果说交子与蜀锦，是成都先锋的血脉；那么二十世纪初落进街巷的装饰艺术，就是成都审美的实体记忆⸺老洋楼的拱券、拼花地面、铜质门把手，与外滩共享同一段黄金年代的语言。只是成都的版本，多了一份松弛，是前卫里裹着市井的温度。
This project sits on Chengdu’s Eastern Main Axis. On one side lie the bamboo groves of the Sichuan Linpan landscape; on the other, the glass curtain walls and skyline of the new town. Our task is to awaken that pioneering gene from within time.The answer lies not afar, but within Chengdu’s own collective memory.If Jiaozi and Sichuan brocade constitute the lifeblood of Chengdu’s pioneering spirit, then the Art Deco that permeated its streets in the early 1900s forms the tangible memory of the city’s aesthetic legacy. Arches, patterned tile floors and brass doorknobs of the old Western‑style mansions spoke the same architectural vernacular of the Golden Age as those on the Bund. Yet Chengdu’s iteration carries a laid‑back ease — avant‑garde flair wrapped in the warmth of urban grassroots life.
WJID维几设计用古典建筑的比例与秩序，去装今天的生活，让Art Deco的几何线条，落在成都的天光里。而材质，是我们与这片土地对话的方式。玉器的温润、龙窑的粗粝、蜀锦的光泽、竹编的柔韧、青铜的沉郁、木构的温度⸺这些不是装饰元素，是成都几千年的物质记忆。我们把它们从传统里取出来，用当代的手法重新转译，让老材质，在新空间里，继续呼吸。
WJID Design adopts the proportions and order of classical architecture to accommodate contemporary living, letting Art Deco’s geometric lines unfold under Chengdu’s natural daylight.Materials are how we converse with this land: the mild warmth of jade, the rugged grit of dragon‑kiln pottery, the lustre of Sichuan brocade, the supple resilience of bamboo weaving, the sombre gravity of bronze, and the warmth of timber structures. These are mere decorative elements no longer. They embody Chengdu’s millennial material memory. We draw them from tradition, reinterpret them through contemporary approaches, and allow these age‑old materials to keep breathing within new spaces.

推开⻔，最先触到的不是视线，是光。六⽶挑⾼的穹顶下，「洄响」悬在半空⸺克莱斯勒⼤厦的退台弧线被收成⼀个纯粹的椭圆，Art Deco"⼏何为⻣"的核⼼逻辑还在，只是⻣相换了材质。
Upon opening the door, light greets you before sight.Beneath the six-meter towering dome hangs the installation Echo.The setback curves of the Chrysler Building are refined into a pure ellipse. Retaining the core Art Deco principle of geometry as the skeleton, the design reinvents its structural bones with entirely new materials.
西方的几何为骨，东方的含蓄为肉。螺钿的珠光在光里泛起温润的涟漪，一层一层，像时间从水面荡开。
Western geometry as bone, Eastern subtlety as flesh. Mother-of-pearl’s pearlescence ripples softly in light, layer on layer, like time spreading over water.
脚下的石材拼花向内延展，线条克制。右侧墙面的艺术装置，以金属质感呼应Art Deco的摩登都市性。接待台面取大漆，触手温润。金属的冷，与大漆的沉，这一冷一沉之间，成都与黄金时代，正式接驳。
The stone inlay underfoot extends inward with restrained lines. The wall art installation on the right echoes the modern urbanity of Art Deco through metallic texture. The reception counter is finished in lacquer, smooth and warm to the touch. Between the coolness of metal and the depth of lacquer, Chengdu connects with the Golden Age.

穿过大堂，光线收窄，脚步自己慢下来。廊侧墙上挂着用垂直刮擦的笔触，把1930年代纽约的帝国大厦与克莱斯勒大厦重新编码成抽象语言的时代映像。隔着几十年的时光与一万公里的距离，那幅画与成都的街巷，共享同一种摩登的想象。
Past the grand lobby, light narrows, and footsteps naturally slow. Mounted on the corridor wall is an era portrait rendered with vertical scraping brushwork, re-encoding the Empire State Building and Chrysler Building of 1930s New York into an abstract language. Across decades and ten thousand kilometres, this painting shares the same modernist vision as the alleyways of Chengdu.

As you pass by and meet its gaze, the present and history blur within a single frame.
第二幕 · 痕迹

穿过廊道，拱形门洞收住光线⸺水吧的光自天花倾泻，金属链条垂下球形灯罩，像一串被光穿起的雨滴。
Passing through the corridor, the arched doorway frames the light. Light pours down from the ceiling above the refreshment counter. Spherical lamp shades hang from metal chains, like raindrops threaded by light.
墙面酒店黑白画以镜头下的海派Deco为题，影像与抽象色块并置，像时间的两个声部，构成一场无声的交响。
The black-and-white wall art depicts Shanghai Art Deco captured through the lens.Juxtaposed photographic imagery and abstract colour blocks form two voices of time, composing a silent symphony.
从水吧转身，空间再次打开。
Turning away from the refreshment counter, the space opens up once more.
洽谈中心被定义成一场私人盛宴⸺收藏、阅读、洽谈、娱乐，每个区都有自己的侧重。皮革与木覆上墙面，触手温润，与石材的冷静相对而坐。
The negotiation lounge is conceived as an intimate salon: spaces for collection, reading, discussion and recreation, each with its own focus. Leather and wood clad the walls, warm to the touch, sitting in counterpoint to the calm stone.
墙上艺术画，取意Art Deco百年回顾大展，用几何纹样连起纽约华尔道夫的窗花与精英人物的剪影，再现黄金时代的痕迹。
The wall artwork draws inspiration from the centenary Art Deco retrospective. Its geometric patterns link the window tracery of New York’s Waldorf Astoria with silhouettes of elites, reviving traces of the Golden Age.
第三幕 · 唤醒

会所被定义为三件事：浪漫假日、生活平衡、心灵疗愈

The clubhouse embodies three ideals: romantic retreat, balanced living, and spiritual restoration.
从公共洽谈区退入二楼这扇门内，是更为私密的VIP室，设计以最克制的材质，留出一个沉静的场域。
Retreating through this door on the second floor from the public negotiation area, one enters a more private VIP lounge. The design adopts restrained materials to craft a serene domain.
上到三楼，先遇见的是水。泳池把天光接进来，光碎在水面，又随波纹聚拢。池畔浴床与长凳静置，壁灯在暗处亮起，人一入水，城市就远了。红色楼梯盘旋而下，酒红的弧线在光里明灭，泳池到健身房的情绪由此转换。
Ascending to the third floor, water greets you first. The swimming pool draws in skylight; light shatters across the water surface and gathers again with ripples. Poolside loungers and benches rest quietly, wall lamps glowing in shadow. Once you step into the water, the city fades away. A crimson staircase spirals downward. Its burgundy curves flicker in the light, shifting the mood from the pool to the gym.
学习盒子则是另一种语境，木的温润从墙面漫到脚下，放映会从《午夜巴黎》到《绝美之城》，从午后到夜幕，共享同一段光影。
The study box unfolds a different narrative. Warmth of wood spreads from walls to the floor. Screenings range from *Midnight in Paris* to *The Great Beauty*. From afternoon till night, people share the same flow of light and shadow.
尾声 · 聆听

站在湖畔，听水声，看天光缓缓漫来。水波折叠着灯火与星光，也折叠着这座城市千年从容⸺九天开出一成都，万户千门入画图。这座城的摩登，从不是他者的倒影；它把每个时代的新，都过成了自己的日常。
Standing by the lake, we listen to the rippling water and watch the soft glow of daylight spill over. The ripples fold lamplight and starlight, and also the city’s thousand years of poise.Heaven carved Chengdu from the void; ten thousand homes unfold like a painting.The city’s modernity is never a reflection of others. It absorbs the innovations of every age and turns them into its own way of life.
时代在变，成都对待 "新" 的方式却始终如一，WJID维几设计所做的，不过是将这份基因从时间里唤醒，让老材质在新空间里继续呼吸，让黄金时代的回响，落进寻常日子。记忆被看见，未来可以居住。时间在这里不是一条直线，是一圈一圈荡开的回声⸺每一圈，都荡向成都的下一个时代。
Times change, yet Chengdu’s attitude toward the "new" remains constant. What WJID has done is merely awaken this innate spirit from time. Heritage materials keep breathing within new spaces, and echoes of the Golden Age settle into ordinary days.Memories become visible, and the future inhabitable. Time here is not a straight line, but rippling echoes spreading circle upon circle — each ripple reaches toward Chengdu’s next era.
