The lobby is conceived around the theme of “A Salon of Society, a Legendary Banquet,” introducing the atmosphere of an urban manor where the signature St. Regis heritage meets the distinctive spirit of Haipai Shanghai.
大堂以“名流沙龍，傳奇盛筵”為主題，引入都市莊園的生活意象，將瑞吉的經典基因與海派風華融於一室。
Drawing upon the St. Regis tradition of gathering over afternoon tea, brass, lacquer, and silk create an atmosphere of vintage luxury. The expansive arrival space is transformed into an elegant salon that accommodates private conversations, afternoon tea, and intimate social gatherings.
延續瑞吉百餘年來以下午茶相聚的傳統，通過黃銅、漆器、絲綢等材質營造復古奢華，將開闊的接待空間轉化為兼具私密洽談、下午茶與小型沙龍功能的優雅會客廳。
The transparency and lightness of the crystal contrast with the dark stone and soaring columns, creating a dialogue between depth and brilliance, stillness and movement. As light passes through, material and craftsmanship work together to awaken the refined echoes of the Gilded Age.
水晶的通透輕盈，與深色石材、高聳柱體相互映襯：一面沉靜深邃，一面晶瑩流動。光線穿行其間，以材質與工藝，重新喚醒鍍金時代的精緻餘韻。
The lounge chairs are upholstered in imported Weitzner fabrics, subtly weaving the textures of old Shanghai’s Shikumen brick walls and the delicate imagery of qipao embroidery into every inch of the textile surface.
單椅選用 Weitzner 進口面料，將老上海石庫門磚牆的紋理與旗袍刺繡意象，細膩地織入每一寸布面。
Rather than expressing Art Deco through overt decorative elements as in the original interior, the new design reinterprets it as an evolving contemporary language—one that continues to resonate today, rather than a style frozen in history.
不同於原有空間以鮮明裝飾詮釋Art Deco，此次設計將其重新理解為一種仍在演進的當代語言，而非凝固於歷史的風格符號。
The large Cabinet of Curiosities-style minibar pays homage to traditional craftsmanship through handcrafted eggshell inlay, while hand-painted magnolia branches lend it a subtle touch of Eastern artistry.
“珍奇櫃”式大型迷你吧以手工蛋殼鑲嵌致敬傳統匠藝，手繪白玉蘭花枝則賦予其含蓄的東方畫意。
The design draws upon the refined and elegant lifestyle of a St. Regis residence, shedding the conventional image of a traditional hotel suite. Instead, it evokes a contemporary private residence—one that has gracefully evolved through generations, carrying with it a sense of enduring character and effortless sophistication.
設計汲取瑞吉府邸精緻優雅的生活方式，褪去傳統酒店套房的既定印象，這裏更像一座歷經世代更迭、從容演變至今的當代府邸。
Lacquer, liquid metal, leather, and bespoke timber are seamlessly integrated into the furniture and objects. Each material tells its own story, coming together to create a rich, layered experience with a refined tactile quality.
漆藝、液態金屬、皮革與定制木作隱入傢俱和器物之中。每一種材質都在訴說自己的故事，共同營造出層次豐富、觸感細膩的體驗。
The headboard screen draws on Art Deco’s iconic layered arches and vertical divisions as its framework, while delicate pale-blue magnolia branches weave gracefully through the composition, softening the geometric lines.

Soft natural light is filtered and gently extends into the bathroom, dissolving the boundaries between spaces and creating a more open, fluid connection between the living and bathing areas.

Working from the established spatial framework of the existing guestrooms, the renovation adopts a principle of “preservation and re-editing,” focusing the transformation on the furniture, proportions, and tactile qualities that most directly shape the guest experience.
面對原有客房已經成熟的空間基礎，室內設計改造選擇以“保留與再編輯”為原則，將更新集中在真正影響居住體驗的傢俱、尺度與觸感之上。
The window-side lounge has been carefully reconfigured. The chaise longue is replaced with a simpler, softer silhouette, while the arrangement of tables and chairs is refined. The existing ottoman and selected pieces of furniture are retained in their original forms, while updated upholstery and more durable materials enhance their functionality and comfort.
臨窗休憩區重新調整傢俱關係：貴妃榻以更簡潔圓潤的輪廓替換，桌椅組合重新調整，床尾凳及部分既有傢俱則保留原有形制，通過面料與耐磨材質更新，改善使用體驗。
Correspondingly, the material expression becomes more restrained. Grey-white textiles, fine-grain leather, and softly textured surfaces replace overt decorative expression, while black piano lacquer, antique bronze, and mother-of-pearl details provide subtle accents, seamlessly connecting with the existing warm-toned wood finishes.
材質表達也隨之變得更加克制。灰白織物、細紋皮革與柔和肌理取代過度鮮明的裝飾表達，黑色鋼琴漆、古銅金屬及貝母細節作為點睛，與原有暖色木飾面彼此銜接。
While preserving the original Art Deco foundation, the space evolves from opulent grandeur toward the understated elegance and refined urban residence character of St. Regis.
在延續原有 Art Deco 基底的同時，讓空間從濃郁華美轉向更瑞吉從容，細膩的都會府邸氣質。
